5. Gate → Meter Response

The gate hasn't moved since 6/12, yet the daily-average flow has slid from ~23.8 cfs (Jun 12–13) to ~22.0 cfs (Jun 14–15) — about 1 cfs under the 23 cfs order. This is the slow, multi-day drift flagged in the fluctuation analysis: the supply head in the regulating forebay easing, not anything at our gate. Hour-to-hour scatter remains the usual ~3% noise.

Calibration refreshed: with three full days at 10.15″, the rating point updated to 10.15″ → 22.9 cfs (averaged over n=70 readings, down from 23.8 last report). Re-fit: cfs ≈ 4.4×in − 21.4, so 23 cfs → ~10.1″. The website gate calculator now uses this.
Watch: if the head keeps easing and you want to hold the full 23 cfs, a small bump from 10.15″ toward ~10.3″ would recover it. The 1 cfs shortfall is minor for now; worth a look again tomorrow to see if the drift continues or levels off.
